A reliable, everyday universal recipe with a warm tone and punchy colour profile, VersaTone Daily is built for versatility. It’s designed without a fixed film simulation, so you can tailor it to the scene. Provia works great for a clean all-round look, Astia softens things up, and Classic Chrome adds that nostalgic, documentary feel. My personal favourites are Classic Negative and Pro Neg Standard. The white balance is set to 5400K with a subtle red shift (+2R, -1B), giving the image a touch of warmth without skewing too far. Color is bumped up to +3 for richness and vibrance, while the strong Color Chrome effect helps deepen tones without blowing things out. Highlights are softened slightly, shadows left neutral, and sharpness is dialled back for a more organic finish. This is a recipe that’s meant to stay out of your way. It handles different lighting conditions well, keeps skin tones flattering, and adds just enough character to make your shots feel considered straight out of camera.
